1. Introduction
Welcome to Vertical Training Academy (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) fully govern your access to view and use of our website (https://verticalacademy.us/) , training programs, certifications, and related services. By enrolling in a course, using our website, or verifying a certification, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in training programs.
- By registering, you confirm that all the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date.
- Employers enrolling employees are responsible for ensuring participants meet prerequisites and are medically fit for work‑at‑height training.
3. Training Programs
- We provide in‑person, hybrid, and online courses, including tower climber certification, competent climber certification, competent rescuer training, rope access training, and other work‑at‑height safety programs.
- Course schedules, instructors, and content may be updated to reflect compliance with OSHA, ANSI, SPRAT, IRATA, NATE, and GWO standards.
- Completion of a course results in certification but does not guarantee employment.
4. Certification and Verification
- Certificates issued by Vertical Training Academy are valid only for the period specified at issuance. Renewal may be required.
- Certificates can be verified through our Verify Certification page using the unique certificate ID.
- Employers and third parties may use this tool to confirm authenticity, validity, and compliance.
5. Payment and Refund Policy
- Course fees must be paid in full before training begins unless otherwise agreed.
- Refunds are available if cancellation is requested at least 14 days before the course start date.
- No refunds will be issued once training has commenced.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses. In such cases, participants may opt for a refund or transfer to another session.
6. Code of Conduct
- Participants must follow all safety instructions during training.
- Misconduct, including unsafe behavior, harassment, or violation of academy rules, may result in dismissal without refund.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory during practical sessions.
- Participants must respect instructors, fellow trainees, and academy property.
7. Intellectual Property
- All training materials, including manuals, videos, and online modules, are the property of Vertical Training Academy.
- Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written consent.
- Unauthorized use of Vertical Training Academy’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Vertical Training Academy is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during or after training, except where required by law.
- The participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake work‑at‑height training.
- Employers remain responsible for workplace safety and compliance beyond the scope of training.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal information collected during the registration period will be used solely for training, certification, and compliance purposes.
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by law or accreditation bodies.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by United States law.
- Any disputes arising from any of these Terms will be resolved in the courts of the state where Vertical Training Academy is headquartered.

- Changes will be posted regularly on our website, and the continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Disclaimer
- Training provided by Vertical Training Academy is intended to enhance safety and competence, but does not replace employer responsibility for workplace safety.
- Certifications indicate completion of training but do not guarantee job placement or performance outcomes.
